Might be a good idea to cruise over to THIS PAGE and have a quick read about WHY women? Why for me photographing these antifragile, yet wonderfully vulnerable and at the same time - fierce as hell creatures just set my world on fire! Bring me your true self - and I'll try to lasso the moon for you and hold it up like a mirror so you can see and experience just how magical you truly are. Then print it out and keep it for all time so your daughters, and your daughters daughters will look at them and think... wow.

Makeup should never be a mask. To me - it's a flashlight. Something to shine the brightest light on the best and most beautiful subtle features of a face. It's also a form of self expression and creativity. Teaching a woman that makeup doesn't have to be hard or out of reach... that she can look her best daily with minimal effort is my holy grail.
My buddy TD called me one day and asked me to photograph some really beautiful custom homes that his company builds. I was like, "TD - you know I'm a PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER, right?" He was like, "Yeah... we need a fresh perspective and I like your work." Well, he took a chance on me and as it turns out - I LOVE shooting homes. So thanks to my friend - who had more faith in me that he probably should - I have the distinct honor of working with some amazing builders, architects and designers. Helping to bring their creative vision and voice to life.
To me - every room has a "FACE" - and its up to me to find it.

When you wake up in the morning and know you're going to pull a 12-15 hour day shooting an 8 page fashion editorial for a regional magazine - not just once but a few times - that's a reason to jump out of bed - clap your hands and say - I LOVE MY JOB! The buzz of energy throughout the day with hair and makeup people - photography assistants - assistants from the magazine - model - wardrobe - catering - etc. It's a thrill of a day!
